My breakfast at whampoa food centre (next to the wet market).
Plate of fried bee hoon with luncheon meat, fried egg and lady's finger vegetables ($2.80) with a regular cup of Tea'O (80 cents)
Century egg with cucumber salad...
this version uses lao gan ma chilli paste and oil, sichuan chilli broad bean paste, sesame oil, raw garlic, black vinegar, sugar and soya sauce

stir fried lotus root with wolf berries
sauce: oyster & light soya sauce, white pepper, shaoxing wine, water or stock, cornstarch to thicken
lotus root has got to be pre-boiled before stir frying at high heat and wolf berries as fresh as possible.
what i would like to add in this dish are wood-ear black fungus (mu er) and maybe some fresh mushrooms.

we ate dinner at little india's tekka market
- 2 idly for Jannah and 1 masala dosai for me
- with lots of sambar and curry!! so yummy!!
