what we ate in Dec 2019
this is the month of eating christmasy snacks and food...
like ham, turkey, roasts, cakes.... all of which isn't my thing Lol
i think i'd like more veggies, soup and rice!!
maybe some thai food and all sorts of salads too
well, veggies... definitely. yes!
literally, thai baby kai lan almost everyday!!

lunch - at home
dinner - me, jannah and christen
- rong kee at people's park centre, the building opposite chinatown point, linked by a bridge across eu tong seng road. had shuikao hor fun (dumpling with ipoh kuey teow dry), char siew and roasted belly pork. later had tong shui.
24 dec 2019 tues
lunch - me, aidan, christen and jannah
- brinjal, potatoes & capsicum dish, tomato egg, brinjal with minced pork (fried plain), beef ginger and spring onions from 2 sichuan zhichar stalls at people's park. aidan was so pissed that we ordered 2 types of brinjals - which he refused to eat because he doesn't like it LOL

- 25 degrees - burgers and blueberry pancake!

- tim sum at china classic, chinatown point
- very nice but ex - $120
- siew mai, steamed pork ribs, chicken feet, bean curd wrap in gravy (very nice), whitebait fish, 2 beef brisket noodles, 1 roast duck noodle, char siew, crispy roast pork belly, sliced cold pork, chrysantamum tea for 5...

- me and myself haha - fishball noodles $8.40,
- me and jannah - shanghai noodles $7.80 with fried pork dumplings $5.40.
so yummy!!

- hungry christen, feverish jannah and me with super bad sorethroat
we wanted fish noodle soup but ended up with sambal fried rice and stir fried mix veggies!

minced pork noodle
name looks like the famous jalan tua kong lau lim stall but this definitely tastes different. pity the noodle wasn't as QQ or cooked right, but the pork, fishball and sambal chilli was really nice. anyway, i stumbled across this stall because the telok blangah wet market and food centre was closed :(

| got a warning when i ran down to buy some kropok and indian snacks at casuarina - for my Chinese (China) students. Good thing i was back before they actually gave me a fine! made me upset for a while, thinking that i had to pay the fine to get some teeny snacks. |
