today i made a sausage & tomato stew for pasta. it tasted so good but no photos Lol
used barbecue sausages by sadia - it's really yummy!!
maybe i'll be able to take a pic tomorrow.
(nope, forgot! because it was so good we ate it all up!)
Sausage Stew
1. fry bacon & sausages till brown but not burnt, set aside
2. fry onions, chopped red & green chillis, garlic
3. add in sausages, bacon.
4. add tomato sauce (i like prego's mushroom pasta sauce)
5. braise with fresh rosemary & thyme
6. serve with mash potatoes or pasta or toast/bread
so the sausages are by Sadia brand, bbq and halal.
very very nice! love ti and will buy more!

Fishball noodles at Telok Blangah Crescent Market (block 11).
noodles are quite firm but the seasoning is on the sweet side.
there's a long queue for the noodles. a normal bowl costs $3.
and another mee pok fishball noodle breakfast
at telok blangah crescent food centre!
noodles was quite firm and the seasoning is very tasty!
there's a hint of vinegar and the balance is nice.
unfortunately, the chilli paste gave me a really bad tummy a few hours later!
a normal bowl costs $3.50 but since i wanted some teochew meatballs,
my bowl with additional 2 meatballs costs $4.50.
i can do without the meatballs next time. but i won't try it again...
IF i didn't get the tummy pains and diarheoa, i would definitely want to eat this stall again!
i really like the taste of the seasoning and the texture of the noodles.
perhaps i might try the soup version next time...
10 Sep 2020
Tried another stall...
$2.50 for fishball noodles
and $1.20 for EACH sotong ball. seriously??!!!
noodles are a little soft. there's tau gey, bean sprouts and vinegar.
taste is quite good.
and a bowl that costs $2.50 is quite reasonable -
with 2 fishballs, 1 fish dumpling, 3 pcs fishcakes, bean sprouts
and well-seasoned noodles. soup was good too!
i just can't understand the $1.20 price tag for homemade sotong ball...
like, i like eating it but it's something i can do without!

Breakfast - Soya Sauce Chicken with hor Fun $3 - nice!
